Learning a language enhances self-esteem and can open the door to new possibilities & opportunities that the world has to offer. The core language taught at Stanningley Primary School throughout Key Stage 2 is Spanish and is based on the Language Angels Spanish scheme. Learning is fun and practical and is based on the National Curriculum Programme of Study for Languages. Children learn to both speak and write in Spanish and this is developmental throughout the Key Stage to enable children to retain and consolidate their skills.
