Homework

Maths, spelling, grammar (alongside Learn by Heart facts) are sent home every Wednesday. All of these books need to be returned returned to school the following Tuesday. 

 

Reading 

The children will bring home a reading book every day, changing them as necessary. Although year 6 are likely to be reading longer books, they need to be reading a wide range, so please encourage them to read at least a few pages each day.  We check reading records on Thursdays. Please ensure that their reading records are signed each week.  

 

Important Days

• Monday- Whole school assembly
• Tuesday- Homework handed in. P.E - kits must worn
• Wednesday- Homework sent home
• Thursday- Music Assembly 
• Friday- Whole School Celebration Assembly and PE
