The Local School Library Services dressed as Book Detectives came into school to perform a great assembly. It was very ineractive and fun.

We began our world Day with a whole school assembly delivered by the Leeds Library Services. Two amazing detectives came and delivered a fun and exciting assembly.
To help us celebrate World Book Week our poet friends Colin , Julie and Adam are in school this week. Our exciting week has begun with a whole school assembly. It is always great fun. We all joined in with the actions to the stories.
Wow! What a fantastic morning we had. So many talented children entered the Stanningley's Got Talent Show. Each class was well represented with a variety of acts such as; singing, rapping, dancing, football skilsl, jokes and even comedy strips. Thank You everyone who took part. And a special Thank you to our amazing judges.
We all participated in a whole school Safer Internet Day Assembly. We celebrated all the wonderful things we like to do. We celebrated all different things that make us who we are. We celebrated THIS IS ME! We finished our great assembly by singing THIS IS ME from the Greatest Showman.
Lots of fun & laughter was had by all today during our Annual Christmas Panto. This year we all enjoyed the tale of Jack and the Beanstalk!
Thank you to all our families and friends who came to the church with us. We enjoyed a Nativity story read by the Class 6 children. We had a lovely time singing Christmas songs and our School Choir sang for us too.
We all came to school wearing odd socks for Anti bullying week. We wore our socks with pride to show inclusion.
We all paid ÂŁ1 to come to school in our brightly coloured clothes for Children in Need. Pudsey Bear came to see us. He brought some lovely little Pudsey's to raffle off. Here are our winners.
Stanningley Primary have been showing their respect to all those people who have fought in battles past and present.
We all had a lovely time at the annual Harvest Festival. We all collected food to help people in our own community. Some of our children went to deliver the food we collected. We all went to the hall to perform the songs we have learned. All our friends and families came to hear us sing. Each class performed their own poem, song or rap. Mrs Rivers supported the choir with their lovely songs. Reverend Coutes came to say a lovely pray for us all. What a lovely time.
We have been thinking about how different people learn in different ways. We have been thinking about how some people find some tasks difficult. How some people see, read and hear differently. We have also learned how many of the famous people have also had Dyslexia and gone eon to become very successful people.
What a FANTASTIC night we had, from Edward Scissor-hands to the Grinch. Great costumes & make up to match. The children enjoyed party games & lots of dancing too.
We had a lovely time raising money for the MacMillan Coffee Morning. We all had chance to visit our very own little café in our school hall. To purchase a bun or piece of cake that had been made by our families and friends. Yum yum!
Our friends from the Road Safety Team came to support us with our Safety Week. We started the week with a Whole School Assembly with Amber.
The whole school are now collecting stickers from their shopping trips to ALDI. We are trying to fill the whole poster. Then SPS will be put into a big draw with a change of winning a super cash prize for school. Please help us by dropping off your unwanted sticker to the school office. Thank you.
