About Us » PTA
We extend to you a warm welcome to the PTA section of the Stanningley Primary School Website.
Stanningley Primary School PTA is run by volunteers for the social and financial benefit of our children in school and extra-curricular experiences. We meet informally in school every month to organise events such as discos, fairs, festival activities and much more.
We endeavour to spend PTA funds in ways that will benefit all children across all areas of school life eg. to subsidise school trips, to pay for the Christmas Pantomime. In the main the PTA funds are for the ‘extras’ not provided by the school budget, that make our children’s learning experiences so much more fulfilling and exciting. At the same time this also saves parents money.
All parents and members of the school community can get involved if they want to, even if they only have a small amount of time available, and all parents are automatically members of the PTA when their children join our school.
The aim of the PTA is not just about fundraising. It is also about developing great relationships and a clear sense of community. Plus, it's a great way of getting to know other parents and gives the children a real sense of belonging.
If you’d like to get involved, in any way you can, contact Di Greenwood via the school office.
We look forward to welcoming you on board!
Thank you for your support.
