Whole School Road Safety Assembly

During our safety week the whole school participated in a whole school assembly from our friends the Road Safety Team. Each class then had a turn to learn or consolidate their safety skills.

School Council Alliance Conference

We enjoyed our very first School council conference. Children from Summer Field, Valley View, White cote, Bramley St Peters and Stanningley all enjoyed the day on 13.7.18. We were lucky enough to have the local councilors come to join us in our afternoon of activities. Which included designing an anti bullying poster, Computing safety, Healthy eating and team games. We had great fun!

Summer Fun 6.7.18

The whole school came together at lunchtime to enjoy a lovely Summer picnic outside in the glorious sunshine. Our Dinner Ladies prepared us a traditional seaside lunch. fish, chips and beans. Or a tasty veggie sausage, chips and beans followed by Ice cream. It was great fun.

Summer Fair

We had a great Day on 15.6.18. Our Annual Race 4 Life Event followed by the Summer Fair. Lots of our families and friends came to both events to help us raise money for our favourite charities. We had lots of stalls, games and a huge raffle. Not forgetting the fabulous Barbeque. Fun , fun and more fun!

A Mile A Day

The whole school have enjoyed joining in the run a round the park and the school playground to keep fit with A Mile A Day.

KS2 Assembly - British Values - Democracy

We had an assembly all about democracy. This is one of our British Values. We learnt what it means and how it works in our country. We found out how adults get to choose their government and how this is just the same as the way we get to choose our own school council.

The Royal Wedding Celebrations

We had a special day on Friday 18.5.18 to celebrate the wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan. The whole school was invited to join in the picnic lunch in the beautiful sunshine. We ate our lunch then played games. We had a great time.

BRAMLEY'S GOT TALENT

A massive well done to all our Talent Show competitors. A fabulous night was had by all at LWA. The night and talent was amazing.

Sports Relief & All Stars

The whole school dressed up in their sports wear to raise money for Sport Relief. We started the day with a great sports assembly. Children and staff all joined in the fun.

ST Thomas Church

We all walked up to ST Thomas Church for a lovely Christmas Service.

Christmas dinner

Today was Christmas dinner day. All the teachers came to serve our food and sit with us to eat. It was lovely. We want to say a big thank you to our lovely dinner ladies who give us our dinner every day and always give us a smile.

Children in Need

This has been a busy week. We have had Peace Week, a special visitors in school and Children in Need. Have a look at the visitor that came to school and the clothes we all came in on Friday to help raise money for Children in Need.

Race for Life Assembly

We were pleased to welcome our special charities to our Race for Life assembly and give them a cheque for £1089.86 to help towards the wonderful work that they do.

Harvest Festival

The whole school took part in the Harvest Festival. Lots of our friends and families came to listen to us sing our Autumn songs. Reverend Coutts also came and gave us a few words. Following the Harvest Assembly some of the children took the food we collected to the local live at home.

Colin, Julie and Adam

Our friends Colin, Julie and Adam have been for their annual visit to help us with our Black History Month. We always have so much fun with poetry when they visit.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

The Macmillan Coffee Morning was a great success. Thank you to all those who kindly donated cakes and buns and all those who helped and supported by coming along for a cuppa and piece of cake.

Voting Day

All Key Stage 2 children were invited to place a vote for the nominated children that were standing for school council. Following this the counting began and all winners were then announced in Whole School Assembly on Friday.
