We have been thinking about where different foods come from & how they grow. We planted some potatoes & came up with of lots of different ways that you can use them. Can you guess what the favourite way to use a potato was ?

To try & reduce our carbon footprint we encourage children to walk, bike or scoot to school. Year 3 had a fun filled morning with Amber from the Road Safety Team, learning how to stay safe on scooters.

Our Environmental Club have been very busy making bird feeders to hang around the school grounds.

Our Gardening club have been busy cleaning up some of the autumn leaves, as well as creating some cress initials.

• Eco Committee Application Form

We have been thinking really hard how we can help to save our planet. So we looked through our rubbish and found brilliant ways to re use it. Have a look at all the great ideas.

The children from our Eco Committee have designed some posters to help people to remember to put their litter in a bin.

We had a visit from the Leeds Recycling Team who spoke to us all about recycling & the importance of it. We leant lots from the assembly.
