Art Intent Statement

Art has an important place in the school curriculum and is a vehicle for creativity and individual expression. We provide creative experiences that allow our children to develop skills in: drawing, painting, collage, textiles, 3D designs, printmaking and digital media. Art is taught both discretely and in conjunction with other subjects through cross-curricular planning. We work regularly with Leeds City Art Gallery to give our children workshop experiences that relate to specific artists and art works.
