The Year 6 children enjoyed the end of year BBQ in the sunshine to celebrate them leaving Primary School. Everyone had lots of fun!
What a glorious day it was for our annual Race For Life event! The children pushed themselves to the limit during the race; it was a fantastic day!
The children in class 6 celebrated the world coming together after such tragic recent events across the country. Here are some of the lovely designs they have made to show the power of love!

Year 5 and 6 took part in a Macbeth drama workshop with Colin and Julie, in order to enhance our understanding of Shakespeare. We then performed this to our adults from home!
The children in Class 6 spent the day looking at how to be safe online. They each created a prototype of a profile page for a new social network site aimed at children aged 10/11. Please see some of our work and the final display we created.

On Monday 23rd January we were lucky enough to be visited by a real-life Viking named Njal, who had come to spend a day with Class 5 and 6. The children enjoyed becoming Vikings for the day, learning about their way of life, building their own boat, sailing the seas and even raiding the monasteries! What a great day it was!
We were very lucky to be invited to a Christmas meal courtesy of Radio Aire at Gauchos restaurant in Leeds. Everyone had a great time!

The children in Year 6 visited Armley Mills this week and spent the morning in character as Victorian children. During the afternoon they visited various areas of the mill to find out what life was like in that era. Everyone had a brilliant time and enjoyed this wonderful experience!
What a great day we have had at Stanningley celebrating `Children in Need. We have raised lots of money and the penny collection has created a wonderful design!
As part of Peace Week, the children across school designed some birds in the style of Picasso to add to the tree in the hall. It was important that each bird carried a positive message of mutual respect and tolerance. I hope you enjoy looking through some of their designs!

As part of our black history month, the children were once again visited by Colin and Julie who, as always, were fantastic and led a series of workshops. Here are Year 5 and 6 rehearsing for their final performance!
Class 6 took part in bikeability sessions during safety week. They had a super time and really enjoyed being out on the roads, learning ways to keep safe!
